My suggestion is to stay with windows xp, however, that choice is not option when obtaining a new computer. I thought the driver would be same or it would function on windows vista. Wrong. I spent couple of days trying to install and finding the proper driver.

Bluetooth Modem

To use bluetooth modem for your internet connection. You don't need any special driver. As long as you have bluetooth technology on your computer, you could use your phone as modem for internet connection. This connection how may drain battery of wireless phone very rapidly but it's my personal preferred method because no wires and no activation of active sync.

• In order to use bluetooth modem for your desktop or laptop computer internet connection, phone and computer must be configured to find each other. Passkey encrpyption should be set to prevent intrusion.
• After discovery, bluetooth modem should be define as one of the internet or modem connection. If bluetooth modem is not an option as one of the modem connection, add internet connection for bluetooth modem, bluetooth modem should be one the option for the modem. If bluetooth modem is not an option, the discovery has not been successful.
• The bluetooth modem option could be seen on properties of the modem connection. Once bluetooth modem is set as the modem, the computer is ready to connect to the internet via your mobile or cellular phone.
• It is a great backup or traveling modem.
