The mission of the School of Pharmacy is to prepare ethical, entry-level practitionerswho are competent within and sensitive to the ever-changing health care environment as it relates to the collaborative provision ofpharmacy care. Furthermore, the School of Pharmacy endeavors to provide entry-level pharmacy education to traditional studentswithin a diverse, supportive, student centered environment. The curriculum emphasizes lifelong learning, critical thinking, evidence based medicine and service to the community
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
The pharmacy program is a six-year program that admits students directly out of high school. Admission to the University is determined by the applicant's graduation from an accredited secondary school course of study or a GED certificate, academic preparation, performance, and personal qualities.

Students will be admitted to the School of Pharmacy from high school based on strong academic performance. The successful high school student will have completed a rigorous college prep curriculum, possess a minimum high school GPA of 3.3/4.0, minimum ACT of 23 in each subject area or minimum SAT of 530 in each subject area. All admitted students are assured a place in the third year of the program if they meet academic and professional standards (3.0/4.0, no grade less than C, eligible for licensure, and completion of all pre-professional courses) during the first two years of the program at The University of Findlay. If space allows, a limited number of transfer students may be added to the first, second and the start of the third years.
