DESCRIPTION
Palm Beach Atlantic was founded in 1968 as a coeducational Christian liberal arts college. Named for its location in the Palm Beaches and its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, Palm Beach Atlantic offers an excellent modern facility on a 25- acre campus in downtown West Palm Beach.
- Palm Beach Atlantic is strategically located in the core of city and county health-related industries, and is just minutes away from Palm Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
- PBA currently offers over 20 areas of undergraduate study and 5 graduate programs, in addition to the first professional degree, pharmacy.
- The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy's stated mission, Pharmacy with Faith--Preparing the Servant-leaders of Tomorrow, has been kept in the forefront since the school's conception in 2001. With a faculty-student ratio of 7:1, each student receives personalized attention from faculty members who are some of the finest educators and research scholars, both nationally and internationally recognized.
- Professors share the school's vision for pharmacy as a caring, personal profession and have committed to teach and mentor pharmacy principles which encourage the meeting of that vision. The School of Pharmacy moved into its permanent home, Gregory Hall in July 2004. Gregory Hall is a 44,000 square foot, 4-story building exclusively for the School of Pharmacy. This state-of-the-art facility, which will house all pharmacy laboratories, classrooms, and faculty offices, is yet another expression of our commitment to provide pharmacy students with the best opportunities to meet their full potential. We are seeking to attract prospective pharmacists who want small class size with close interaction between professors and students, modeling the community pharmacist/patient relationship.
- We are seeking to be the first choice of students searching for a pharmacy school that places its highest priority on the personal, professional, and spiritual development of its students.
