12/15/05: 1 image transformation: currently working on program to combine
multiple images into 1 image. Somewhat success, but cannot test on this
server due lack to image::magick. Hosting company offered to move but
aren't sure.
12/25/05: Devices corrected for Antarctica medal.
Armed Forces Reserve Medal devices corrected
01/10/06: Current server do not have image::magik installed. Either
site has to be moved or ribbon checker could move to a new site.
Inclined to move the ribbon checker in order to provide the ribbon checker to
other branch service members.
09/20/06: Updated to display selected ribbons and devices as images and
texts.
12/05/06: Added American Defense Service Medal.
12/12/06: Added American Campaign Medal.

03/26/07: Preliminary US Navy ribbon checker - First Draft
03/29/07: Still working with perl image magic module to improve the
ribbon checker
04/20/07: updated the awards checker to reflect proper layout of medal
(shown as large medal).
04/20/08: Above status of 01/10/06 completed. Now graphic images
are transformed into one.
05/03/08: Almost all the kinks are out of the ribbon checker displayed as
1 image file.

Proper medal layout of large medals (currently layout as same as ribbon
but medals have different matrix of layout). The awards checker is
currently being re-program to meet the marine uniform regulation.
Awards Checker: place devices on medal as well.

If you would like to print a copy of your ribbons and only if you are having trouble printing: For Internet Explorer Browser:
click on the browser's Tools menu. Select Internet Options, then click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to find the Printing heading and check the box called Print Background Colors and Images.
For Mozilla or Netscape Browser:
no special instructions.
