Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Pharmacy Technician Registration Requirements [OK Board Reg. 535:15-13-8]

1. Prior to receiving a permit, all pharmacy technicians must have
   satisfactorily completed a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
2. Phase I (initial training). A technician may begin Phase II (onthe-
   job training) only after they have received their permit and
   must complete it within ninety (90) days of receiving their permit.
3. Phase I: Applicant must complete a technician training
   program.
4. Applicant must submit an application to the pharmacy
   board.
5. Phase II: Applicant must complete an on-the-job training
   program within 90 days of receiving a permit.

Pharmacy Technician Training Requirements

1. Pharmacy manager is responsible for administering a training
   program and maintaining records. The instructional text of the
   training program must be kept in the pharmacy and submitted for
   approval to the Board on request. [OK Board Reg. 535:15-13-13]
