Nevada Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Pharmacy Technician Registration Requirements: [NAC 639.240]

1. Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
2. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
3. Applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or have a
   history of drug abuse.
4. Applicant must submit an application to the pharmacy
   board.
5. Applicant must complete a board-approved pharmacy
   technician training program.

Pharmacy Technician Training

1. Pharmacy Technician applicant must successfully complete a board-approved training
   program. Training requirements include an orientation to the
   practice of pharmacy and instruction in the topics listed in
   regulations. [NAC 639.256]
