DESCRIPTION

Sullivan University is a private institution of higher learning dedicated to providing educational enrichment opportunities for the intellectual, social, and professional development of its students. The Mission of the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy is to prepare General Practitioners and Clinicians.

CURRICULUM

The Goals of the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy are to:
  1. Establish a solid pharmacy program based on assessment and outcome-driven standards for excellence
  2. Provide a student-centered and technologically proficient teaching and learning environment
  3. Recruit, retain, and develop dedicated faculty and clinical faculty experts in their fields
  4. Provide a rich and diversified culture for students’ enhanced learning experiences
  5. Provide a competency-driven, practice-based training experience for students
  6. Serve the Community as part of the Mission of the College and training of the students
  7. Contribute to the scholarly activities of the Profession
  8. Support the advancement of Pharmacy education and practice.

In addition, other requirements are:
  1. minimum Cumulative and Science GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale in pre-pharmacy coursework
  2. a PCAT result of 50% or above
  3. two letters of recommendation; at least one from a health care professional
  4. interview with Sullivan University College of Pharmacy faculty/staff
  5. possess professional attributes such as communication skills, desire to function in teams, values (such as honesty, punctuality, meet deadlines, good work ethic, compassion, etc.)
  6. Physicial Exam
