  • The College of Pharmacy curriculum consists of a four-year program leading to the doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
  • The first year of the professional curriculum is designed to provide a firm foundation in the basic sciences. The second year of the professional curriculum is applied. In the third year attention is directed to analytical skills.
  • The final year of the Pharm.D. curriculum consists of full-time clinical clerkships. The College utilizes off-campus pharmacy practice sites to provide experiential education in the externship and clerkship programs.
  • The affiliated practice sites are within the Greater Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Ft. Myers, Palm Beach, and Tampa Bay area. Various types of pharmacy practice environments provide the student with opportunities to interact with patients and other health care providers.

  • The primary delivery system for the off-campus program is interactive television. While the course is uncompromising in quality, it is flexible and geared to meeting the needs of the working pharmacist.
