DESCRIPTION

LECOM is a private, non-profit college located on a 20-acre campus overlooking beautiful Lake Erie offering professional programs in osteopathic medicine and pharmacy. Erie is a two-hour drive from Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.

CURRICULUM

LECOM School of Pharmacy offers only the professional program in pharmacy. An innovative, three-year, year-round curriculum leads to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Applications can be downloaded from the LECOM School of Pharmacy Web site. The PharmCAS application deadline is March 1. The LECOM School of Pharmacy supplemental application deadline is also March 1. To be considered for admission to the School of Pharmacy, applicants must:
  1. Submit an on-line application to PharmCAS;
  2. Complete and return the LECOM School of Pharmacy supplemental application along with application fee;
  3. Complete a minimum of 60 semester hours, including the following pre-professional course requirements from any accredited college or university (however, affiliation agreements have been established with several undergraduate institutions which are listed on the Web site) by the Spring term

Applicants are evaluated on academic performance in the prepharmacy courses, interest in and adaptability to the profession of pharmacy, and a verbal communication skills assessment.
