DESCRIPTION
California Northstate College of Pharmacy (CNCP) is a private College of Pharmacy in Sacramento. California Northstate College of Pharmacy is dedicated to educating, developing, and training individuals to provide competent patient-centered care. The goal of CNCP is to graduate highly skilled pharmacists who improve the well being of their patients, who contribute to the scholarship and research of pharmacy practice, and who promote the expanding role of pharmaceutical services in the health care system.
CURRICULUM
Emphasis of California Northstate College of Pharmacy curriculum is placed on giving students a strong background in pharmaceutical, biomedical, clinical, and administrative sciences and on exposing students to a wide variety of active learning experiences to develop their problem-solving, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills. CNCP curriculum will provide the progressive development of critical inquiry, clinical reasoning, professional communications, and the knowledge and skills needed to design, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy regimens. CNCP offers a pharmacy education of active learning, direct patient care experiences, and the role of research in advancing the profession of pharmacy.

The pre-pharmacy requirements are constructed to ensure that applicants have the primary academic background necessary to complete a rigorous professional curriculum, as well as an adequate exposure to a broad range of academic coursework.
